Online Learning: Accessing Books & Articles

Materials such as books, articles, patents, theses, and reports can be ordered through ILLIAD ( the Interlibrary Loan & Article Delivery Services Office) at the Van Houten Library. The Interlibrary Loan staff will arrange for the delivery of books and photocopies of articles by email. Materials not owned by the NJIT library will be obtained from another library. Please make sure you check our database to see if you have access to an article or book before ordering it.

Note: The library cannot provide course related textbooks, workbooks, or software as required by course instructor.

The NJIT library has a large collection of Ebooks that can be read online.

Some can be downloaded for 1-21 days.

Only a percentage of each book may be printed or downloaded as a pdf due to copyright restrictions.
