The Littman Library website provides extensive information about our resources and services.
You can also contact a librarian:

  • Contact Kennedy Jones at 973-596-5755 or at hkj@njit.edu
Faculty can schedule a consultation with a librarian to learn more about library services, policies, and collections.
  • Schedule a general or course-specific instruction session to help students learn how to find, evaluate and use resources available in the library and on the internet.
  • Ask a librarian to design a research guide/tutorial for your course.
  • Those who use Moodle can request information literacy materials to be included in the course management system for your particular class.
  • Request a demonstration on how to use any discipline-specific database.
  • Alerting service: ask Maya to be notified about new titles as they arrive. Also, you might want to attend "Tea in the Library" events to evaluate new acquisitions.
  • Suggest materials for the collection by sending an e-mail to Maya.
  • If the library does not own a book or a periodical, consider requesting it via Interlibrary Loan (for books) or Rapid Document Delivery (for articles). You can also borrow materials in person at VALE libraries.
  • Reserve a  room/space with projection available for an individual meeting or a small group discussion.
  • Reserve space and time in the Digital Scholarship Lab at http://archlib.njit.edu/digitallab
  • Access library resources from off-campus.

If you have any problem with presentation equipment contact Media Services at 973-596-3005.

If you have a question or need assistance do not hesitate to contact library staff in person, by phone or via e-mail.
