The Digital Scholarship Lab, a space to work on projects that employ digital tools and methods, is equipped with two computers, a flat-bed scanner, a book scanner, and a projector. Using Oculus Rift, students and faculty can explore their 3D models in a virtual reality environment or work on other projects. HoloLens set allows for working on Augmented Reality projects. The Lab hosts a series of workshops as a part of the “Skills Exchange” program. For more information about reserving this space check http://archlib.njit.edu/digitallab
To request books, articles, images and other documents to be placed on regular or electronic reserves, contact a librarian in person or by email (maya.gervits@njit.edu). A previously existing reserve can be re-activated on demand as well. Reserves can be found on the library website be searching the course name/number or instructor name.
