iOS Tip


Scanning with Notes (iOS)
The Notes app that comes with the iPhone and iPad has scanning abilities. Follow the steps below to use the scanner:

  1. In Notes, open a note or create a new note.
  2. Tap the camera icon and then tap Scan Documents.
  3. Place your article in view of the camera on your device.
  4. If your iPhone or iPad is in Auto mode, your article will automatically be scanned. If you need to manually capture a scan, tap one of the Volume buttons.
  5. Drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, if needed. Tap Keep Scan.
  6. You can add additional scans to the document or tap Save when you're done.

Google Duo
This is a high-quality video calling app. Pick a contact and jump right in, with a simple interface that makes video calling as easy as one tap. The Knock Knock feature allows yo to see who's calling before you pick up. The app also lets you leave video messages and allows for voice-only calls when needed. Android | iOS
Instagram is a simple way to capture and share the world's moment. Follow family and friends to see what they're up to. Post photos and videos and edit them with filters and creative tools. Message friends privately in the Direct feature. Android | iOS
Use LinkedIn to navigate your career - whether to find a new job, keep in touch with your network, or stay up-to-date on the latest from your connections and area of interest. Use your profile as a virtual resume and highlight your accomplishments and responsibilities. Find colleagues to add to your network. Follow companies and topics you are interested in. WhatsApp Messenger
This is a free messaging app that uses your phone's Internet connection to let you message and call family and friends. Call your friends and family for free, even if they're in another country as WhatsApp uses your phone's Internet connection rather than your cellular plan's voice minutes. Participate in group chats with your contacts. Android | iOS.
