Hack Van Houten

Sign up to compete in Hack Van Houten 2025!

Hack Van Houten is the NJIT Library's brand new semester-long proof-of-concept competition to improve user experience in the library. Students compete as teams, attend workshops to earn bonus points, and work with librarian mentors to craft the best proposal to improve library experience at the Van Houten Library or NJIT Libraries more broadly. The first place team wins a $200 grand prize and second place is awarded $100, both redeemed as Amazon gift cards. Have questions? Email hackvanhouten@njit.edu.
