Off-Campus Access Options  



  • If you need a print book contact your Van Houten liaison, or HCAD librarian.  We will attempt to find an electronic substitute.
  • If you have print books out on loan, they have been renewed to September 30, 2020.
  • No overdue fines will be charged for the rest of the semester.
  • If you have any questions


  • Interlibrary Loan will be operating for article and book chapter requests that can be filled electronically.  The print books and other physical materials loan service is suspended until further notice. 
  • Self-Help is available through online FAQs, Research Guides, and Tutorials.
  • Virtual Research Consultation, Reference, and Course Support are all available remotely.  Contact your liaison librarian via email or chat.
