FED 101 - Fundamentals of Engineering Design: Workshop & Grading

HOW YOUR WORK WILL BE GRADED

1. Follows Directions (5%). Did you follow all of the instructions?

2. Reading (20%) Did you correctly understand the articles? Did you clearly communicate

the author’s main idea, methods, evidence, conclusions?

3. Writing (20%) Is your writing correct, clear, and concise. Appropriate word choice? Avoid

cliches and generalizations and exaggeration. See the “Avoid Fatal Errors’ tab and “How to

Summarize and Annotate” on the ‘Communication’ guide.
