Google Scholar

This guide will help you navigate Google Scholar.

What is Google Scholar?

"Google Scholar is a filter on Google that filters out sources that are not academic in nature." See About Google Scholar.

Use Google Scholar in conjunction with the SCOPUS database to find scholarly articles.

On Campus -- you will see links from Google Scholar to library articles that are available.

Off Campus -- you must return to the library homepage to search for things you found behind a paywall, or use Interlibrary Loan to request materials not available either in the library or on the web.

Search Using Google Scholar

Search Google Scholar to discover and access many journal articles free on the web and those made available to you by the NJIT Library.
