This guide will help you navigate Google Scholar.

Set Up Email Alerts to Get New Articles Sent to Your Inbox

Do a search for your topic of interest.

Google scholar search for "statistical literacy" AND "library instruction".

Click the envelope icon on the left side of the search results page.

Enter your email address. Click on "Create alert."

Create alert for the Alert query: "statistical literacy" and "library instruction".

Verify that you're not a robot, and then verify the alert through your email.

Save Items of Interest to Your Google Scholar Library

Click on the star symbol underneath a title of interest to save it.

Find all of your saved articles by clicking on "My Library" on the top right of the page.

Find all of your saved articles.

Cite Articles from Google Scholar

The citations aren't perfect, but it can be helpful to copy-paste the citations and then correct them.

Click on the quotation mark icon, and then find the citation in your preferred style from the list.
