Welcome to the SciFinder research guide at NJIT. This guide will introduce you to the database and help you navigate it as you conduct your research.

Using the navigation bar, you can find information specific to the platform including how to search, manage your results, and access the full text of references.

What is SciFinder?

SciFinder-n is a targeted database ideal for chemical and biological research. In it you will find information on substances, reactions, references, and even chemical suppliers.

In order to use SciFinder-n you must first register using your NJIT email address.
Once you are registered, you can connect directly to SciFinder-n.

Why SciFinder?

SciFinder is a database made by chemists for chemists. Not only can you find relevant resources to support your research, you can even draw chemical structures to find information on compounds, reactions, patents, and more.

  • Accelerates the literature review process
  • Finds and sorts results by relevant concepts rather than individual keywords
