Scalar: Annotating

Scalar is great in that it can annotate anything with anything, creating media-rich and non-linear texts. 

You can create annotations for media files by selecting the file, then clicking the paperclip to add new annotations.

The same process also works for video.  You can set the start and end times for an annotation, as well as add multiple annotation segments by clicking the plus button.
