Welcome to the Sage Data research guide at NJIT. This guide will introduce you to the database and help you navigate it as you conduct your research.

Using the navigation bar, you can find information specific to the platform including how to find datasets and use the tools provided by Sage Data to discover insights for your research.

What is Sage Data?

Sage Data, formerly known as Data Planet, is a repository that includes searchable databases and datasets you can use to support your data. You can also create your own custom data visualizations to tailor the information to best suit your needs. 

Why Sage Data?

Sage Data provides a single platform for quickly finding, exploring, visualizing, and sharing detailed data from the many source providers. With its multidisciplinary and global scope, it can be used in any setting, from independent research to classroom instruction.

  • Access U.S. and international databases through one searchable platform
  • Find detailed locale and business data with multiple search and browse options
  • View continuous updates for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual datasets as data is released by the source providers
