A guide for using at NJIT. Turnitin is a plagiarism detection software that is integrated into Moodle.

Help Getting Started!

Please make an appointment with Davida Scharf or another reference librarian if you'd like help getting started in your Moodle course. 


This guide is maintained by the NJIT Librarians to assist users with, which is usually used through Moodle.

  • The Librarians provide assistant to instructors for creating assignments and reviewing student work.  
  • The NJIT's Computing Helpdesk provides support and administers accounts.  

Librarians are also available to consult with instructors or students on a work in question of plagiarism or high similiarity to another source in the database.
