Canaletto Museum in Venice

Welcome

The resources about Venice, its architecture, and city planning are abundant. The same is true for materials about  Canaletto (1697 - 1768). Thousands of books, articles, maps, video recordings and old photographs are scattered throughout various collections around the world. This guide can be used as a gateway to some of these resources. It incorporates only a small selection of available materials.

This guide will help you to navigate scholarly materials available at the library and on the web. It will discuss books, databases, and websites related to your class. It will also help to evaluate materials and cite them properly. In addition, it will provide numerous links that will be useful for accomplishing your assignments. Articles can be located by searching Avery Index and other databases. If you need materials not owned by the NJIT Libraries you can use Interlibrary Loan to borrow books or Document Delivery Service to request articles to be scanned and saved in PDF format, which will be delivered to your email. You can learn more about copyrights and plagiarism by visiting another guide: "Using Images, Citing, and Plagiarism: Image Reuse." It also contains information about copyrights and tutorials that can help to conduct research and cite materials properly.

As always, contact the Library staff if you need further assistance.
