Tableau SoftwareTableau Public is a free version of Tableau visualization software. It allows you to use most of the software functions. You can create visualizations and connect to CSV, Text and Excel documents. To begin downloading the app:

  1. Go to the following page: https://public.tableau.com/en-us/s/ 
  2. Enter your email address in the applicable field, and then 
  3. Click "DOWNLOAD THE APP" button.

An .executable (.exe) file will download automatically on your computer and the installation should begin by asking you to agree to Tableau's terms and conditions.  Once you agree to the terms and conditions, you can proceed to install the application and begin your journey to learning Tableau!
