Using VR and other Technology Resources at Littman Library: HoloLens 2

1. Ensure the Hololens headset is fully charged. The charge level can be checked by pressing the power button on the rear right side of the headset. 5 solid lights beneath the power button indicate a full charge. The USB-C port below the power button can be used to charge the headset. from 0% to 100% takes 2 to 3 hours.

2. Put the headset on, using the knob at the back to adjust tightness of fit. The overhead strap can also be adjusted for better fit. If you wear glasses, leave them on. The visor at the front can also be tipped upwards or downwards to provide beer viewing. Brightness conrols are on the front left side, and volume controls on the front right side.

3. Once you have the headset on and adjusted, log in to the Hololens by entering the Pin number for the Littman library account, ask a librarian for access if you don't have it already.

4. Once logged in you can view tutorials on how to use the Hololens by clicking on "tips." If you need to return to the main menu at any time, hold one hand palm up and use the other hand to click the windows icon that appears on you wrist.
