Cite while you write


  1. Open Microsoft Word or Google Docs and note Zotero’s presence on your menu bar 

  2. Write something interesting that needs to be cited

  3. Choose the place you’d like to put your in-text citation and place your cursor there 

  4. Click on “Zotero” in the menu bar 

  5. Click “Add/Edit Citation” 

  6. In the dialog box, choose your citation style 

  7. Search for that which you want to cite 

  8. Hit enter 

  9. Proofread and admire your citation
