Omeka: Gallery

To add an item to the gallery, click the button labeled Add Item.
This brings up the Attach an Item dialogue box. Click the button labeled Show Search Form.
Use the Search Form to search for keywords using the Search for Keywords box. You can also specify a collection using the Search By Collection pull-down.
When you are done entering criteria, scroll down and click the button labeled Search for Items.
When you find the Item you’re looking for, click the Item and then click the button labeled Select Item. Click the button labeled Apply.
Add another Item to the gallery by clicking the button labeled Add Item. Repeat the process as many times as necessary to fill your gallery.
You can rearrange the Items in the gallery by clicking on an Item and dragging it to another location in the gallery.

When you have finished adding Items to the gallery, you can optionally add the text that you would like to accompany the gallery in the Text box.
Click the button carat at the end of the box labeled Layout Options.
You can showcase a single Item in your gallery by choosing a Showcase file position. The showcased Item will always be the first Item in the gallery. The image is showcased by showing an enlarged version of the Item’s image. When you are done, click the button labeled Save Changes.
