Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Services: What is ILLiad?

This guide explains the process of registering information and using ILLiad interlibrary loan at NJIT to request materials not owned by NJIT libraries.

What is ILLiad?

ILLiad software is use to manage resource sharing. NJIT library uses ILLiad to process interlibrary loan and document delivery requests. ILLiad allows current students, faculty and staff to:

  • submit requests,
  • track status of requests,
  • retrieve electronically delivered requests,
  • renew borrowed items, 
  • view borrowing history.

An ILLiad account is required to submit interlibrary loan and document delivery requests.  First-time requests will be prompted for registration information.
