This guide provides information about ebooks and ebook collections @ NJIT

Off-Campus/Remote Access to eBooks

Due to licensing restrictions, off-campus/remote access to subscription electronic resources, including eBooks, is limited to current students, faculty and staff of NJIT. There are several authentication option available for off-campus access.

  • EZProxy: It is the most easiest and reliable authentication method to connect to NJIT network.
  • VPN: Install the VPN client on your device before connecting to NJIT network.
  • Mobile Devices (iPhone/iPad) VPN: Configure and use VPN on iOS based devices to connect to NJIT network.
  • Dial-up Access: IST provides dial-up modem access. Two banks of modems with a total of 139 lines are available. You must authenticate with your UCID and password to use this service. Detailed configuration and phone number are available here.

The IST HelpDesk is the central hub for computing information and first point of contact for getting help and reporting issues related to computing technology at NJIT.
