Searching for ebooks at NJIT
- Search: Start by searching the online catalog . Selected ebooks from the free Web and ebooks from the NJIT E-collections are included there.
- Identify: In the catalog click on the book title for items listed as "Free e-resource" or "Digital Resource"
- Click on book title: then click on the link to view the item.
- No charge: ebooks are available 24/7 to current NJIT faculty, registered students and staff. Login with UCID when prompted.

FIRST BROWSE: In the EBL Library, after browsing a book for 5-10 minutes, you might be asked if you want to keep reading.
TO CONTINUE READING ONLINE: You can click OK and keep reading online.
DOWNLOADING: With some of the titles, you may have an opportunity to download it to your own computer for up to 3 days. You will be prompted to download some extra software 'Adobe Digital Editions' the first time you do so. After 3 days, the book locks up...so there is no chance to have an overdue fine! You can always read online or download it again if you still need it. You can never download to a public computer (in a PC lab).
PRINTING: There is a limit to the number of pages you can print.
Adobe Reader is required in order to print and copy ebook content.
