History of Furniture: Finding Images in Art & Design

Find Images in Books and Print Journals

Reproductions of paintings, sculptures, graphics, and works of decorative art and design can be found in encyclopedias, histories, monographs, exhibition catalogs, and catalogues raisonnes, as well as in publications on museum collections or books discussing particular subjects. To locate these books, search the library's online catalog. You can also review our recent acquisitions.

To locate images in journals, search BHA, ARTbibliographies Modern (available at Rutgers) and the Avery Index. Other journals can be found by browsing our list of journals or using the journals locator.
